“Tony was my magic consultant an episode of BROTHERS & SISTERS which I directed. “Consultancies in the film and television are always risky because the majority of the time, you’re paying an “expert” to provide counsel, when you yourself are not an “expert” at what you’re hiring the individual to accomplish – - thus you have no barometer to judge whether their expertise has true value.
